Good morning and happy Wednesday!
Popping in for another quick daily eats post. To encourage you to eat all the food. To embrace nutrition. Not to have you judge my eating or your own eating. Just a friendly reminder 🙂
I am on my cycle this week and I am craving ALL the fats, red meat and chocolate. So I obliged of course!
The morning started off with some coffee mixed with MCT coconut oil, heavy cream, aswanganda and nutmeg. Basicallyyyy my Jacked Up Java.
I went for a walk with my husband and my dog and was feeling extra extra tired (thanks, period) so I went for another weak cup of coffee with a little bit of collagen/heavy cream mixed in.
Wanting something light, yet delicious I snacked on almonds and 88% chocolate while working this morning. And then I went to a yoga class and enjoyed the pure bliss yoga gives me. Also, totally loving working for myself and creating my own schedule. It’s tha best.
When I got back, I made a big brunch/lunch of Niman ranch bacon, spicy burgers, sauteed purple sweet potatoes, sauteed kale in leftover fats from cooking the meats + a dash of maple syrup and some sriracha mayonnaise. I also snacked on some grapes while cooking this meal!
I finished off the meal with a few swigs of this Rebel chocolate milk (new find, OBSESSED) and another bite of my beloved chocolate.
Later on after running errands I met Meg at a local coffee/kava shop to work. I tried kava for the first time and while it doesn’t taste great it made me SO relaxed. Love St Pete and all the options/new things constantly available here!
In the afternoon I snacked on some almonds, too.
After working for a few hours, I headed home and got to make dinner of teriyaki stir fry with sirloin (thanks Butcher Box!), rice (soaked in water + ACV + sea salt for 8 hours before cooking), carrots, kale, and dang it I wanted some cabbage in there and I forgot to get it all the store! Darn 🙂
Dessert was a stuffed date with peanut butter, x2.
Nick got home late this night from working, and brought home sushi for dinner. I LOVE sushi so I took one of each of the rolls, topped with all the wasabi and pickled ginger. I wasn’t hungry but intuitive eating doesn’t always mean you have to be hungry to eat. Sometimes you just eat for pure enjoyment, and this is a perfect example of that!
