Thank you all so much for your sweet, kind words about yesterday’s post. While opening up can be scary, it is so worth it if it helps others. So many of us have struggled with this ‘diet mindset’. Intuitive eating is really the only answer I believe to forming a healthy relationship with food, which I will go in to in more detail in part 2. I will be sharing that next week!
I talk a lot about intuitive eating on this blog, especially in my What I Ate Wednesday posts. But what does that really mean?

Now onto the eats…from this past Sunday!
I started the day off with a cup of my beloved Jacked Up Java and enjoyed a slow morning with Nick watching HGTV and planning our home decor for our new house (oh, adulting!)
A couple hours after I woke up, I had a smoothie bowl. Packed with zucchini, spinach, blueberries, bananas, raspberries as well as plain Greek yogurt, PB2 and high protein almond flour, cacao powder, maca powder, cinnamon and a splash of almond milk and kefir to combine. LOTS in one smoothie 🙂 Topped with Puffins cereal, cacao nibs and peanut butter, of course.
Shortly after a late breakfast, Nick and I took Porter on a long walk around downtown St Pete. We think we walked around 5-6 miles, it was the most relaxing, fun start to a Sunday I have had in a long time!
Once we got back, I enjoyed some homemade kombucha with a splash of this Seven juices blend from Trader Joe’s.
Lunch was a piece of toasted sourdough bread topped with avocado and a fried egg. Plus, TJ’s spicy Korean chicken sausage sauteed with a bunch of vegetables and soy sauce. Oh, and a date stuffed with a little bit of peanut butter and a piece of 85% dark chocolate. YUM.
I think I also had a couple bites during food prep and a bite of Nick’s hotdog, too.
Dinner was random, as all of our meals have been lately 🙂 Spaghetti made with brown rice pasta, TJ’s spaghetti sauce, zucchini, kale, cherry tomatoes topped with TJ’s pesto marinated chicken and feta cheese.
And finally, I ended the night with my favorite dessert/nighttime snack as of lately. PB2 mixed with kefir and topped with blueberries, graham crackers and a little bit of Paleo Passions granola (product given to me).
