Welcome, I am so glad you are here!
I have been in love with food as long as I can remember. When I realized that I could turn my love and passion for food into a career, I knew I had found my calling.
I received my bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in Food Science and Human Nutrition in 2011 and completed my dietetic internship at South Carolina’s Department of Health and Environmental Control and registration exam in 2012. I am a registered dietitian/nutritionist, as well as licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
My two areas of passion and expertise are intuitive eating and digestive health. I have had my own struggles with yo-yo dieting in the past (read more about that here). After years of dieting, I learned to stop dieting and start living life. I made peace with food and my body, discovered intuitive eating and now I am helping others to do the same!
I have also had IBS for almost 10 years, and because of my own digestive struggles, have become a digestion expert. If you need help with getting off diets and learning to eat intuitively or fixing your digestion, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. My private practice, Nourishing Minds Nutrition, will be opening its doors in February 2017. We will be seeing clients virtually and in person in St. Petersburg, FL.
I married my high school sweetheart in 2014 and currently live in St Petersburg, FL with my husband, Nick, and our children- our dog, Porter and our cat, Ellie. Other things I enjoy to do in my spare time: cook (I know, surprising right?), lift weights, hot yoga, walk our dog Porter, fulfill my life duty to become the crazy cat lady, netflix and chill (but for real), go to the beach, explore the beautiful Tampa Bay area, go to breweries with friends and travel.
Thanks for stopping by!
